As quoted from the July 2003 Haper’s Magazine (which in turn was quoted from a collection of Bloomberg’s witticisms presented to him as a birthday present in 1990):
“Make the customer think he’s getting laid when he’s geting fucked.”
I think Bloomberg and Billy Fucillo would get along quite well.
Somebody asked me yesterday how everything was; token chatting while waiting for coffee in the office. I just looked at him and said, "It could be worse, everything could be perfect." He was quite perplexed by this comment. I didn't feel as if I needed to explain myself to him.
I heard this on NPR last night as I was driving home. I can't remember who exactly said it, or exactly what was said. This seems to be the case for most things that I remember. Hence the category of this post.
